Artist: Dona Nabata is an artist living and working on the territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waatuth Peoples. In her undergraduate years, she spent 2 yrs in Japan studying pottery, the Koto, a type of harp, and the Japanese language. She graduated from the Emily Carr University in Ceramics and the University of British Columbia in Japanese Language and Literature. Working mainly with prints and paint, she maintains a studio on Granville Island.
